The Big Hair Cut// 6th March 2015

Today was the day where 8 inches of my long hair was donated to The Little Princess Trust. I thought I'd do a quick blog post to let you all know how it went and show you the process of donating hair...

I washed my hair and dried it last night so it was nice and clean. It was then tied into two plaits, one bobble at the root and one at the bottom of the plait to keep it all together. The plaits were cut off from the top of the root bobble  We left out the shorter layers of my hair as the trust would struggle blending my hair into a wig with various lengths of hair.

After I had the plaits cut off, I looked like I had a mullet so I was in desperate need of a new hair style. So I went and washed my hair and went through about half an hour of blow-drying, extra snipping and some new products being put in my hair to make it extra choppy.

Honor did an amazing job as per usual to style my hair and I'm so happy with my new look. Before I had this hair cut I raised £730 all together with the help of all of you! These donations will be going to Macmillan Cancer Support. I will be taking donations until the end of May and sending it straight to Macmillan via my JustGiving page and the upfront money via the post.

As for my hair? It's the first time I've actually stopped to admire myself in the mirror. I'm keeping it like this for a while now...
