February Favorites// 2015

As many of you are aware, I didn't do a January Favorites post because it was a pretty hard month for my family. But this month has shown me just how many blessings I have and how I should value everything and everyone I have. I knew I should do this anyway, but the struggles my family have been through during the past six months has just emphasised this life lesson for me. So without further ado, here are some of my favorite things of February...

1. Valentines Day

I had my first Valentines Day this year where I was treated like a princess. Because Tom and myself were on a bit of a budget we thought it would be a nice idea to give each other a decorative box filled with our favorite things and little treats. Upon failing to wrap my box for Tom in order to make it look presentable, I had to exchange to a Valentine's gift bag. We went out for a lovely lunch at the Rambler's Retreat, Alton, and then for a bit of a walk where I showed my true inner diva after my boots and jeans were splattered with mud! Despite this, I had a wonderful day and loved every minute of it!

2. Alton Towers- My first Job!

I'm sure you're all fed up of me going on about this now but I'm so thrilled and excited that Alton Towers have employed me as a ride host! I will be working in the X Sector which is where The Smiler, Enterprise and Oblivion are located. I will be trained on one of these rides and then hopefully another ride in another sector! So if you're visiting the park at any point this Spring, Summer, or during Scarefest come and say hello! Tom will also have an interview tomorrow for working at the new Enchanted Village restaurant and bar so good luck, Tom!

3. Crop Tops!

As many of my frequent readers know, I have been doing regular posts about trying to increase my confidence through experimenting with my appearance, selfies and various other self-help mechanisms. This is one of the main aspirations for my blog, I want to inspire other girls to work towards a healthy self esteem like me, it's something everyone deserves. To increase my self confidence that little bit more, I sported a crop top the other day and I felt so sassy. People even told me to wear shorter ones. To add to this new 'un-locked' look for me, I hope to get my belly button pierced and maybe do a bit of tummy toning just to get that extra bit of body confidence.

4. My big hair cut...coming soon!

This Friday will mark the big count down for my charity hair cut in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. I will be cutting off 8 inches of my hair, donating it to The Little Princess Trust and donate all my sponsorship money to Macmillan. The hair cut will take place next Friday, the 6th of March. Not long now, eep!
