2016

Happy New Year, everyone!

Last year (ooh it's weird saying that) was absolutely mental with so much going on. What with my first holiday without my parents, tons more views on my blog and a new college course, I'm curious as to what 2016 will bring. But one thing's for sure, I can't wait!

2015 was a bit of a mix for me, as it will have been for many people. It's a year, and a lot can happen whether it's good or bad. The important thing is to look forward rather than back, take every day as it comes and pour on some glitter! If you have nothing to look forward to this year, create experiences and plan things to look forward to! Work hard and save some money to go to a concert or on holiday, set some goals for yourself. Anything that will make 2016 less boring and more memorable!

Speaking of goals, here's some of my own for this new year...

- Worry less about what people think
- Embrace own personal style (similar to MarziaCutiePie, I was to shy to go for it last year in the end)
- Pass driving test
- Don't give up on driving
- Sort out UCAS and get all excited because I will finally be finishing college after the next academic year
- Think of more creative ways to spend time with Tom (ice skating, long walks etc.)
- Practice makeup more
- Go out more instead of moping about in bed
- Eat healthily and use the gym

There's so many things to look forward to, such as applying for university (I'm sure I will regret saying this when it's time to spend hours on UCAS), going to Oman with Tom to see his dad and going to see twentyone pilots in February. Oooh, I get excited just talking about it!

I'm also hoping to get really arty so I can do some commission photography again. I really enjoyed this! As well as this, I've been given loads of art tutorial books so hopefully I will get some practice and even sell a few of my pieces.

Hopefully this year will be a lot more promising for friendship too. I have enough friends and can count them all on one hand which is more than enough. But why hold back from rekindling old friendships, speaking to new people and what not? Why fret about old friendships that fizzled out for all the wrong reasons? There will be a lot less drama and more positivity this year for me, and every forthcoming year!

So, what are your new years resolutions/goals? What have you got planned for this year? Whatever it is, enjoy it!

Lots of love xo

  1. I'm guilty of worrying about what people think too, I think I need to work on that. Good luck with driving and the driving test, you'll do great! Happy New Year!

    1. I'm so bad for it! If I express my opinion on something and someone disagrees I will start to agree with them so they don't think badly of me. I have such a weak personality in some ways haha!
Thank you so much, I hope you have an amazing new year and can't wait to read more of your blog! xx
