What have I been up to? // Personal
Hello, humans!
I'm aware I just released my 'top ten tips for going abroad' post literally about 10 minutes or so ago, but I thought to myself that I hardly let you guys know what I'm up to. So I've decided, if I ever have a particular exciting week, I will do a post, like this, at the end of the week giving you a full insight on what I have been doing.

So, this week has been particularly busy! I have a lot to look forward to for the rest of this month and beginning of next month, what with Malia being so close around the corner. The other week, I went on a massive shop with Tom for some essentials and cute clothes to wear for when we are away. I will soon be doing a big 'Look Book' post in collaboration with Deborah Jones Photography, which I am super excited for as her work is awesome!
I have also began a massive beauty regime to prepare myself, as my skin isn't looking to great at the moment. I had my first sun bed session last week to build up a bit of a base tan and have also been using a massive variety of beauty products to soften up my skin, which I should be reviewing over the weekend, as well as a soppy fathers day post!
I also had my first driving test on Tuesday which was absolutely fantastic. I seriously enjoyed it. I'd never driven a car before whilst on my provisional license, I'd only ever changed gears for my mum as a bit of a laugh. Sadly, my ten year old cousin is better than me at changing gears! But, in my lesson, on my heart, I only stalled about twice. I drove myself home through some windy country roads and was told I could get the clutch into the bite perfectly, which I was pretty damn proud of. Especially as it was only my first lesson! My driving instructor was awesome too and told me where I was going wrong and how to improve. I can seriously see myself enjoying being behind the wheel. Next week, I will be driving round some estates in my town. I am so excited!
In other news, I've also had a job interview today as a relief nursery nurse. I was so skeptical and thought they would turn me down but they said they were impressed and would love to have me on their team. So naturally, I've been pretty darn chipper this afternoon. I won't be starting straight away, as I have to go through two units of online training and pass two little tests on health and safety & safe guarding. It will definitely be worth it, though. The staff seemed so lovely, and some of the children and babies I met were absolutely adorable. I can guarantee this job will make me very broody.
Over the next two weeks, as well as Malia, I have loads of other fun things to look forward to. It will be my best friend's 18th party this Saturday, so I am only working tomorrow and get a full weekend off. And the same goes for next week, as it is another close friend's 18th, too! So keep your eyes peeled for lots of photos on my twitter and blog over the next two weeks.
I will also be going to Thorpe Park on the 1st of July with some of my amazing new work friends; Hayley, Becky, Charlotte and Toni! I am so excited for this as it is a change of scenery for us all and will be a massive adventure, as none of us have ever been before. The photos of this grand outing will mainly be on my Instagram account though, as I am still debating whether to take my camera or not. But, I will share all the photos on to here so you all get to see!
Emotionally, with so much to look forward to I am in a very happy place at the moment. I've found that the key to positivity and a happier out look on life for me, is to just go out and keep myself busy. Even if it's just to the gym, which I have recently got into doing again this week (haha, one session yesterday). Tom also finishes his exams this week so I get to see him a lot more, and he will be in a happier place with nothing to stress about, seeing as he has worked so hard he shouldn't be worrying about results day, either!

I hope you guys have had a lovely week, too! Let me all know what you're up too and enjoy your Summer!
