I've been off college sick today because I had really horrible chest and muscle pains. College is also making me feel shitty and get aggressive with people so I thought I needed a break.
Whilst sitting in bed on my computer for most of the day, I decided to scour through my computer and look for photographs of how I looked when I was younger. I thought it would be fun to share with you guys my successes and failures with hair, make-up and beauty over the years up until now (feel free to cringe and laugh along)...

We'll start here cos I was cute. This was in Year 5 or 6 when I wasn't really responsible for picking out my outfits and stuff but I was still in charge a bit. I miss looking all innocent and being able to dress dead cute, get away with wearing bandana thingies and all that childhood stuff.

This was taken literally just at the beginning of my first year at secondary school but I look so much younger than 11 years old. Just everyone in this picture looks so much younger! I'm pulling my really awkward 'I hate having my photo taken' smily as well but I was so shocked when I came across this photo today. It looks like a completely different person!

Oh dear lord, I have shared a photo I thought and hoped no one would ever see. This was taken at my Gramps's 75th birthday party and there are so many more photos of me from it looking spotty and horrible. I practically begged my mum to take them out of the frames dotted around my house and replace them. I also had a horrendous hair cut at Mark Scott's in Derby as I wanted shoulder length hair in a nice style but got this instead and had to wear a headband all the time (like pictured above) to make myself look slightly decent. But I don't care cos I'm showing you how I've evolved into a hot mess. I joke of course I'm not that vain.

Ah, well at least I got a bit less spotty (about a year later). But the dress? I could no way get away with that now! My hair looks extremely shiny here and it looks as though this was the time where I started taking action over my 'bushy eyebrows'.

Again, started having my eyebrows waxed and during this summer I was wearing excessive amounts of make-up for my age. Notice my shitty fringe though.. as I was growing out my full fringe which I had but then decided I hated because it got in my eyes and was too much maintenance.

When Mac Photo Booth was a big trend. I have always had a weird top-lip and bottom-nose connection and it seems to stand out a lot more when I pull certain faces. Ew. Here was the breakthrough where I started using eyeliner a lot more and straightening my hair. And my checkered cotton shirt which is still the comfiest garment of clothing I have to this day.

I look more like an 18 year old here than I do now! And how the hell did I manage to get my eyeliner as good? No way would I be able to do that now due to lack of motivation. (I apologize for the mark on my left eyeball, for some reason some of the photos I upload on here are messed up because blogger doesn't like my eyes.

Officially left school, hurray! Started to experiment with my style more and base it on my taste in music, hence the heavy eyeliner. Also had purchased a lovely iPod with pretty filters and apps like Instagram to make me look half decent.

Where I involuntarily wore no makeup so had to excessively edit all my photographs when I took a selfie because I looked unhealthy and spotty.
September 2014. Just before a jetting off to a wedding in Barcelona with my blonde highlights, some of which are still shining through now! Also toned down on the makeup over the years and just kept it more neutral with the eyeliner..
Now! My short, and also slightly lighter, hair.
Well it's been interesting to see how I've changed over the years. Why don't you have a look through some of your photos and question yourself about your previous styles? It's funny, cringe but seriously amazing to see how much you can change over the space of about 5 years. And something I will be doing again in a couple more years time.
