Monthly Favourites// April 2015

Hi everyone!

There's not many monthly favorites this year as there has been a lot going on, I've been a complete stress head and had lots of work to do. But it seems like forever since I've done one of these posts, when in reality it's been about four weeks!

A new favorite band of mine who write a mixture of different things. I can't really categorise it very well, maybe soft rap? They've got a new album due to be released on May 19th, which is hopefully the date which Tom and I will be seeing them. Excited! 

Discovering who my real friends are

This is a dead soppy part, but over the month there has been so much drama and it's opened my eyes to some very important things. The people who I thought I could trust ended up being the ones who were spreading vile rumors. I may be left with a small group of friends now, but these people have actually stuck by me through so much shit. I really value them...aw guys. 

Thelma's Gypsy Girls

I grew obsessed with this program earlier this week and completed the whole series in the space of two nights. Scouse dress-maker, Thelma, who has made her way up with the help of gypsy girls who have bought and idolised her dresses for 15 years, takes on 10 gypsy girls as trainees and teaches them how to make couture dresses to a high standard. When some of them can't even read or write! It's seriously amazing how Thelma helps them gain control of their behavior and become such amazing dress makers in the space of 6 months.
