November Favourites// 2014
It's nearly the end of the year already and Christmas is coming! I am, again, treating you with my monthly favourites. This month has flown by and I have been extremely tired so I've not really been taking too much in due to college work but I shall try my best to come up with a few of my favourite things of November 2014.
1. The John Lewis Christmas Advert
John Lewis have done it again. An0ther extremely emotional Christmas advert that makes me cry every time, right from the bus scene. Personally, I prefer 'the bear and the hare' from Christmas 2013 but that doesn't make this advert bad. It's beautiful and I'm getting emotional just thinking about it.
I want a Monty!
2. Five Finger Death Punch @ Download
I was so excited to find out that Five Finger Death punch were announced as an act for Download 2015. Unfortunately, I don't have the money to go next year. Most people I know look at Download as a really scummy festival but to be honest I would love to go, especially if these guys are performing.
3. American Horror Story: Asylum
My obsession with this programme continues. Within a week I have almost finished the second series of this tremendously horrifying programme. Many people say they prefer the first series to the second, but I find this one much more gripping. I absolutely love Evan Peters in this series as 60's young adult. He is great and really pulls it off!
But, I am not keen on the producers obsession with bringing scenes of rape and sexual assault into the programme. It's brought into it way too much and it just paints a bad picture on the production team. But as a whole, I can't get enough of this programme and can't wait to move on to the Coven season which is based on witch craft and even features vocals from Beyoncé.
My wonderful boyfriend has also funded my obsession with this programme by buying me a gorgeous t-shirt similar to this, but black with white writing then white hems on the sleeves and collar. I practically live in it it's so fancy and comfy.
4. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1

"If we burn, you burn with us..." |
Last week, I went to see The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 with my boyfriend, a friend and her boyfriend and it was just amazing. Francis Lawrence has continued to succeed in his efforts with recreating the trilogy, originally written by Suzanne Collins. Jennifer Lawrence did an outstanding job of playing a more troubled version of Katniss, as her character had been warped by the trauma she'd experienced in the 74th and 75th annual Hunger Games. A review will be coming this Thursday evening.
It's not much but as I said, this month has just gone straight through me so I haven't really noticed too much.
