Guess who's back?
Me. Obviously. No one else has control of this page. Duh.
I am trying to gradually increase the amount of time I spend on my blog as I get more and more free time. As it is past the hours where I would usually be studying, I thought I would dedicate myself to a few blog posts.
My creative juices have really been flowing recently as I have been broadening my horizons, getting more inspiration from other bloggers and YouTubers and engaging in more art. This has really helped with planning blog posts, videos, and my mental health!

Favourites
Smoothies...
I have been dieting for a few weeks now in order to look good for both my engagement party, and my holiday. But, I don't really eat breakfast because I always feel really nauseous in the mornings and I don't know why (No, I'm not pregnant yet!). Obviously, if you don't eat breakfast your body goes into starvation mode and starts storing fat to keep you going. So, mum took a little trip to Aldi and bought me these DELICIOUS fruit smoothies. I'm usually really picky with smoothies as the texture of homemade smoothies don't always appeal to me and make me wretch, but these are incredibly smooth, juicy and sweet. And, an absolute bargain! If you have an Aldi near you and fussy kids who won't eat anything healthy, or you just fancy trying them yourself, go down and buy some!
Love, love, love...
This month has been a tough one. With a few friendships ending, and my PTSD being intrusive as hell, I have been on an all time downer. But, my wonderful fiancé and mother were quick thinkers and soon spoilt me with a few bits to make me feel a little better. Although mental health isn't always fixable, random acts of kindness really do go a long way!
Soap and Glory Skin Range...
I'm sure you were wondering what was in that gorgeous little gift bag. Well, feast your eyes on the above picture!
I was treated to a selection of products from the Soap and Glory skin care range, and oh my they have worked a treat! The Vitamin C Facial Wash is now something I apply every morning when I get up, and every evening before I go to bed. Ever since I started using it, my skin has been oh so soft!
The ULTIMELT cleanser is something I apply before the facial wash, just to get rid of the excess oils and grease from my skin, and any makeup I may have missed off. It has quite a warm sensation, which is really good as heat works a treat for blocked pores.
No Clogs Allowed also has the same heated feel to it and is a facial mask which, again, releases blocked pores! I only really have a facial twice a week at the most so I can relish in the relaxation more and because I read it's bad for your skin to have them too much, but I honestly wish I didn't have as much discipline and had one every day with this stuff!
Curries...
For some reason they have been my ultimate comfort food recently and I have had so many cravings. The chef at my placement setting made a Bhuna earlier this week and, even though I was dieting, really couldn't resist. I feel as though I could live off curries, popadoms, naan bread and mango chutney right now! No exaggeration...
Summer scenes...
Since the pleasant weather has bestowed itself upon England, I have found myself witnessing some of the most beautiful sunsets around my area. I'm really lucky to live in the country side where I can admire it a lot more. I snapped this picture on my way back from the pub last night after a mummy-daughter meal and it got me all giddy and excited for the summer months. Summer means more prettiness!
Bad Neighbours 2
Although it's had some really poor reviews, Tom and I actually enjoyed this film thoroughly! We are huge fans of Seth Rogen and find him hilarious, so we were pretty happy when we found out there was going to be a sequel to Bad Neighbours. And get this, we found it was better than the first film!
The only thing I didn't really like was some of the characters from Chloe Grace Moretz's sorority group. I just found some of them too cliché. Other than that, the original cast were still as funny as ever!
