Hi guys!
As if it's almost September already, so only four months until Christmas and my birthday! This year is going way too quickly.
Lots and lots has been going off this month. Not all bad, not all good. But here is the best of it!
Stationary
Because everyone is going back to or starting school/college/university in less than three weeks time, I thought I'd share with you just some of the lovely stationary I have collected for my new college course this year.
250 Leaf Pukka Pad (Project Book)- Can be found in most stationary shops on the high street, extremely useful for multiple subjects or one big course with numerous modules.
20 Gel Pens from Asda- These were an absolute bargain...£2! There's four different styles; neutral, neon, metallic and glittery. I've always loved gel pens, and I recommend you get this set yourself so you can make your notes look super pretty and attractive!
David and Goliath Pug Pencil Case- This is my third pug related thing from David and Goliath. I didn't even realise they had a stationary range until I found this in Ryman's, but I am in love with it. It's so roomy and can fit so many bits and bobs of stationary in.
Romantic Days Out...
Apologies in advance for the random hair that's swept across the lens...
Because Tom passed his driving test at the beginning of the month, we've been able to go out so much more. This has given us something different to do rather than staying cooped up inside all day watching films (that's for winter!). On one occasion we went to Carsington Water for a picnic because we were extremely bored and wanted to make the most out of the weather, other days we've been to Bakewell and Alton Towers Tree Top Quest.
Beautiful Evening Skies...
Over the past week, the sun has been setting beautifully, reminding us there is still a little bit more summer to enjoy!
Now I'm not superstitious, but these photographs were taken on my Grandma's birthday evening (or the evening after). I think Julia gave us this beautiful rainbow, just as a little birthday gift!
I also love how it's starting to get dark earlier in the evenings, which means its getting closer to Autumn, one of my favorite seasons!
Positivity
My anxiety has rocketed at the moment, but it's something I've had to keep at bay for the sake of those I hold close to me, and for myself. Every other morning I've had a panic attack when waking up, as well as loss of sleep.
The book pictured above is something I've used to keep me going. I must have read it more than 20 times this month, because it teaches important values when it comes to defeating negative moods and fighting anxiety. Such as; spreading positivity, looking for the silver lining and being brilliant
Jess Glynne- I Cry When I Laugh
This is honestly my favorite album at the moment, and there is not a song on it that I do not love!
Some of the songs on it are so uplifting and summery. Although the songs are so recent they remind me of so many happy things that have happened over the summer months. Going back to positivity, Don't Be So Hard on Yourself has to be my favorite track, as I have been so hard on myself recently in regards to beating myself up over uni and re-sitting college.
That's it for now. I can't wait to read your posts on your monthly favorites!
